My former co-worker, Geri sent me information on David’s Chair that allows individuals who are wheelchair bound to have the ability to visit sites in Oregon they may not have been able visit before with a cool wheelchair device. Check it out! I am sending it to my older teens who might find it helpful.

Is anyone else having difficulty in requesting Providence insurance funding for a variety of equipment/supply needs? I wonder if they’ve had a system change. Without going into detail, we sent the request to DME who said it should go straight to the vendor. Vendor said they need insurance approval so it was sent to insurance but they…Read more

I heard from a parent that OHSU is not accepting new specialty dental referrals. If the pt has been there before, no problem but if new, where to send if they have Autism, for example and need sedation? Are you guys calling their dental plan or putting that on the parent task list?
Thanks!
